Email auto created from form results

P

Peelos

Please excuse the novice post, I have tried to read through the FAQ and
previous posts and this has been bugging me all day..

I need to create a form in HTML with check boxes to indicate when
sections have been completed. Once the user has checked the relevant
boxes I need the form to populate an email with the results and ideally
the distribution list(s) ready to be sent..

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. thanks Guys

You would have to create a custom server-side scripted application to process the form and send the
email to a predefined list. This is not something that can be done with FP's form handlers.

Also, some ISP limit the number of emails a users can send at one time, so you idea of using the
user email application would not work, also unless they have it configured for use with their
browser it wouldn't work in any case.
