Email-Delivery Receipt Problem

Got new computer 2 months ago and cannot get a "Delivery" receipt when I
select this under "Options." Can get "Read Receipt," but not the simple
"Delivery" receipt.
Anyone know how to correct this?

Delivery receipts are not under your control. It depends on the mail server the recipient is using as to whether it supports delivery receipts. Many do not.
