Email Forwarding Denied

Samuel D. Bays

Curiously, I cannot succeed in forwarding mail out of Entourage X today,
although I could yesterday.

What changed? I imported the contents of my Main Identity from Office 2001,
transferring over Addresses, Messages, Account, etc.

I can satisfactorily Send mail and Receive messages from my Verizon DSL ISP
Server, but when I try to forward an item, I get ³Mail error. The server is
busy; try again later. Error: 5421²

Any suggestions, please?

Check all your account settings under Tools/Accounts/Mail. In the Options
tab of each account, if you see anything at all in Additional Headers boxes,
remove it. If still no good, write down all the account settings, delete the
account and make it again manually, without using the assistant.

If still no good, quit Entourage, go to
/Users/[username]/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/ , and remove Entourage
Preferences and Entourage Settings (10), and launch. You'll have top reset
some prefs.

If still no good, do an Advanced Rebuild of the database (hold down Option
key at launch). But this doesn't sound like a database issue.
