Email read delay with Outlook 2000 and 2003

Hello:

One of our Outlook 2000 users is having a problem reading emails sent
from two individuals. The emails show nothing in the preview pane, and
when they are opened, there is a 5-minute delay until the body shows.

I had the user forward the emails to me (I'm using Outlook 2003), and I
have the same issue with the emails. They are in HTML format, and do
not have attachments.

The weird thing is, I can open them no problem with Web Access.

Does anyone have any ideas? Our admins here are stumped.
