Email replies keep haning

Hello
when I reply to emails they hang! I have 2003 installed, does anybody have
any idea what is causing this?

If you are using Norton internet Security, turn off the mail scanning.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
