email sent date/time are ignored, reception dates are used instead

I

info

Hi,
On my portable I do not receive the e-mails with their sent date and
time, but they all get the date of reception instead.
Whenever I receive a bunch of mails, they all have the same date/time
on them.
Is this some option/setting?

thanks for your help.

To display the "sent" time and date right-click or Control + click in
the column names at the top and select "Sent". You can also select and
deselect any other columns you'd prefer to see or not see.

Optionally, select from the Columns sub-menu under the View menu.

Hope this helps! bill

Hi Mr. Smith,

On my system it's working OK now, but on my collegues it's not. We use
the dutch version of Entourage, he has the 'sort by' column set to
sent, and all the dates still are the received dates. We don't have
the possibility to add/remove columns either, certainly not in mail.
What I remark is that on my portable, it makes no difference if I sort
the messages on sent or received, the date/time shown next to the
message stays unchanged, only the order changes. On his computer
(macbookpro) the message date/times are all the same, and they appear
to be the date/time the message was received.

thanks for your help!

Hi ludwig!

I am assuming you're using Entourage 2004. Correct?
