email spam blocking my mail HELP PLEASE!!!

Hi,
Can anyone give advice please.
I have just rebooted my comp and reactivated my freeserve
email account. The problem is an old email address which
is clogged with spam is downloading into outlook and I
can't get to my emails. I have tried using the message
rules, but this only seems to work AFTER recieving the
emails and I also tried making a account for the pain-in-
the-bum address and UNticking the 'include this account
when recieving mail'with no luck. I have done it before
but can't remember how! Help would be really appereciated!
