Email throwing up

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Email Client: pop

If I view email on my iphone (and this also happened with my Treo) I go to my computer and all of the emails on my server reappear even if they have already downloaded to Entourage. I have in my account settings to delete email from the server after 1 day. Any suggestion?

POP accounts are not designed to be accessed from multiple locations,
resulting in glitches like you're seeing. Basically the iPhone resetting the
message flags to 'new' so Entourage no longer knows it downloaded them.

Check with your provider to see if they offer an IMAP option. IMAP is
designed for multi-computer access and you will have a much smoother
experience.
