Emails are in list form only

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange My emails are being shown in list form only - as opposed to the default format where the subject and the message were automatically displayed.

How do I revert back to the original format?

choose from one of the options in View>Preview Pane.
