Have 12.0.0......have always had this problem, however. Wondering why
I get emails dated 2004? 2005? etc. And can I get all the return path
information on Entourage emails so I can track down the scammers?
Currently no info is given regarding sender other than basic info
like names, which we all know are probably fake. Thanks.
If this is spam then you have practically zero chance of tracking who's
sending. Sophisticated spammers don't use their own server but rather
send through someone else's server. They also install malware on Windows
machines that turns them into spamming computers, often without the
owners knowing it. A variety of other methods to confuse you and throw
you off the sent exist as well.
All you can really do is protect your E-mail address (don't put it in
public as you've done here) and make sure you're aware of the latest
scams. A good spam filter such as SpamSieve is very useful if you
receive hoards of spam.
Hope this helps!
