emails deleted from server

I just set up my home computer with an account to my work using Entourage client. I deleted the old files from my home computer and was dismayed to find out that all of my office files were deleted from the server as well.

This was a surprise as neither of my other two email clients delete my office server files. what can I do to restore the files/

Entourage maintains a sync with an Exchange account. Changes you make in
Entourage will be reflected on the server. I'm not sure what other email
clients you're using, but certainly Outlook works much the same way.
what can I do to restore the files/

If you have not yet accessed your email from work, disconnect your computer
from the network and make a backup of all your mail. Then you can drag it
back onto the server.

If you /have/ accessed your computer from work, you will need to talk to your
Exchange administrator to see if there is a backup.
