emails randomly disappear from inbox & date changes - Entourage 2004 (11.2.5)

This has now happened twice. Randomlly emails seem to disappear from
my inbox while most of the others (but not all) left in my inbox change
to a random date. This happened just a few days ago, now most emails
are dated 8/14/06 and many more are just gone. I have read the message
boards and have run a database repair, made sure that view 'unread
only' & 'flagged only' are unchecked and there is no schedule to delete
emails from my inbox. I am now missing emails and don't know what to
do. Any ideas on what is going on? How to fix? How to get my emails
back? Any and all help is appreciated.

This looks like a database corruption.
You should launch Entourage holding down the alt key to get the dialog
allowing you to repair de database.
