Emails stuck in Entourage

Hi All,

I am using Entourage 2004 to access an email account (IMAP) on an
exchange server. The problem I am having is that I cannot delete some
email headers from my Entourage folders even though they have been
deleted from the server. I know they are deleted because I can access
my account via the web as well and the messages in question are not
there.

So the messages are not on the server but the headers are stored in
Entourage and I can not delete them. I have tried selecting the header
and clicking delete, clicking the IMAP connection icon next to the
header, then selecting delete from server from drop down, etc... When
I try to open the message it does not appear, confirming that the
actual email is not on the server and that the header is stuck in
Entourage.

Any suggestions on what the problem is and how to fix it are welcome.

Right click on the server icon in the folder listing and choose 'repair
message list'.
