From time to time all emails received in my Exchange folder from 10 May
2005 vanish, leaving only older emails. This is very unhelpful when I

Hi Luke!
You don't mention which version of Entourage you're using but I'll
assume it's Entourage 2004 since you mention synchronizing. You may have
some database corruption. One thing to try is to rebuild your Entourage
database by quitting all Office applications and then launching
Entourage with the Option key held down. You'll be be presented with the
Database Utility and be able to verify and, if necessary, repair your
database. Have a look at the MVPS.org website for details

If you use Entourage strictly for your Exchange server and not with any
POP or IMAP accounts, I would suggest instead creating a new Identity by
choosing Switch Identity... from the Entourage menu. Your Exchange
information will be resynchronized to the new identity but you'll need
to reset your preferences. If you continue to see the same problem then
your problem may exist in your account on the server.
