Emails with embedded images are blank

I'm a newbie. I have a two-year old IMAC with Entourage version 10.1.6
-- Four days ago something changed spontaneously (I think). Regular,
all-text emails arrive just fine, but any emails from lists with
embedded images are changed. When I open them, they are completely
blank. If I click on "reply," the text appears, but not in the usual
format, plus much garbled, programmer-type language, and usually no
images at all. Can anyone help? Barry

In addition to trashing the com.microsoft.browserfont.cache, you can also
try trashing the tasmanbrowser.cache, which will be found in your
~/Library/Caches.

Let me know if that works.
