I've been thinking about adding a Rich Text Editor OCX to replace a memo field my Access app.

But it occurs to me since all my endusers are going to have MS Word anyway, aren't I supposed to be able to embed an MS word Window in my Acccess form

I would use an OLE field for the data, and a bound OLE control on the form, Right

But I don't know how to setup the OLE control to be an editable Word window

Can anyone help? or maybe point me to a few technet articles

aha tia, blm

I use have used Word documents linked to an OLE control several times. The
document when clicked on then calls up Word with the document for editing.
Works fine for me. I link the documents so that the most recent changes are
visible rather than embedded which stores a copy of the document at the time
it was inserted.
