Embedding Flash

Is there an easier or more stable way to sucessfully embed Flash other than
using the Control Toolbox Shockwave Flash Function? I've tried downloading
some of those tools that let you "insert" Flash off of the Insert Menu, but
they will only run on the machine you insert it from, as if it's linked and
not embedded. I have had some success embedding but have found that the
files crash constantly and I can't repeat the SWF without closing and
reopening the PPT file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a way to embed flash movie into Powerpoint and save it all together
so that one does not have to, let's say, e-mail both, ppt/pps and swf files?
Checkin Embed doesn't always work.

the problem is to rewind the flash movie.
We found an add in but it doesn't seem to work in powerpoint XP. does
anybody have some code to automatically rewind a flash movie inserted in a
powerpoint slide ?
