Embedding

Am relatively new to Powerpoint but I recently created a large
presentation with some mp3 music clips. All was well and played nicely
until I had some corruption on my mp3 files that were used in the
presentation. So now the music wont play. The same happened when i
copied the presention to a cd to play for someone else. There was no
music. I thought that the files would be embedded in the presentation
and I woudlnt have to still retain the mp3 files for it to see and
play?

Does it or doesnt it embed, anyone know?

thx

You can embed the audio files if they are converted to .wav files (which are
much larger file sizes) and raise the embeddable size in PPT (TOOLS >>
OPTIONS >> GENERAL Tab >> change the 100kb to 50000kb).
