embeded swf file drops out

I have a PPT that uses a looping swf on the title slide master. The file was
embedded with Shyam's Tool kit. This has been used for a number of
presentations. Ocassionally the swf file drops out. Since it is embedded I
didn't think this was possible. Any ideas why this is happening?
