Emergency package for CD help!!!!

Trina Sulita

I am a college student trying to help out a ministry department at school. We
want to give prospectives a cd instead of all the handouts, so I set it up on
powerpoint, linked to non-published web pages (they're just html files, but
they can't be processed in the packaging) and packaged it to go, adding the
files to the cd. the problem is, the computer I burned it on has it's CD
drive set as R:. Most computers are D:, but a lot are also R:, E: or others.
Can I make the link point to whatever drive the CD is or do I need to set up
an options link at the beginning to select what drive your CD is? We need
this done fairly soon. Thanks for your help.

Put all the files in the same folder and then make the links (probably
means redoing them). By doing this, the links should be local and not
tied to the R drive or D drive.

All of the files are on the CD itself. It works perfectly on the computer I
made it on. For example, one of the links points to R:pages/glines.htm, so on
a computer with a CD drive named R:, it's fine. However, if I try to run it

Your going to have to burn another CD. But first do what David said. Put all the
linked files into the same folder as the presentation redo the links, and then
burn the presentation to the CD

I'm sorry; I wasn't clear. Before burning the files to the CD, you must
place all the files in the same folder on your hard drive. Then you can
burn the whole folder to the CD or better yet, follow the instructions
for making it an AutoRun CD at:
