Empty Inbox after advanced rebuild

Was unable to open Entourage - message said to rebuild database. Followed
instructions to do an advanced rebuild. Now main inbox is empty. Have
several sub inboxes where incoming messages are
distributed based on rules - those still have old messages, but general
inbox is now empty. How can I find out where those messages went?
Any help would be appreciated!!

Has the view been set to Œunread only¹ or Œflagged only¹? Check in the
ŒView¹ menu to see if either of those two options are checked.
