Empty inbox subfolders

So I am posting now after this has happened for the 3rd time.

I have had users come to work to find their subfolders empty. No
deleted, just empty.

I have had to pull their mail from tape because they are simply not o
the exchange server anymore.

I lost my Sent Items last week. Then lost every item in my Inbo
subfolders. Then it has happened to two others.

The other neat trick is people's Entourage cache emptying completely
which causes them to lose a day re-synchronizing their mailboxes

The other neat trick is people's Entourage cache emptying completely,
which causes them to lose a day re-synchronizing their mailboxes.

Would you remind me what version of Entourage and the OS you are running?

Have you tried OWA's deleted items recovery?

Did the items get ³misfiled²? AFAIK, this has only happened with pre-release
products, but sometimes an item will get assigned into a non-existent
folder. If you go to Edit/Advanced Find, choose Messages only, All folders
(including deleted items), match if any criterion is met, and add two
criteria (1) category is none, and (2) category is not none, and click Find,
you should get a list of all messages. If you then sort by the Folder field,
are there any times that have no folder listed? If so, they might be your
items. You can generally recover by dragging them back to the correct
folder, though sometimes you have to drag them first to an intermediate
temporary local folder.
