Enable server side junk e-mail filter Outlook 2003

We currenlty have Office XP with Exchange 2003. We've been telling our users
to enable the server side junk e-mail filter from OWA. However, we are moving
to Outlook 2003 shortly and we have not found the similar option for the
client.

Where is the enable server side junk e-mail filter for the Outlook 2003
client?

Thanks in advance.

On your Exchange 2003 Server. Download and install the Internet Message
Filter (IMF) and the updates.

We already have a third-party spam filter installed which does move messages
to the Junk e-mail folder. I do believe that I have the solution though
through iffy information from Microsoft and some creative testing. There are
two options for enabling/disabling the server side filter:

OPTION 1: Log on to OWA and set according

OPTION 2: Assuming the user did NOT set the OWA settings, when Outlook 2003
is launched for the first time the server side option is automatically set.
However, if a user wants to disable/enable the option in the future, they
must use OWA.

Anyone know why Microsoft does not give an option to enable/disable the
server side spam filtering in the Outlook 2003 client? At least it should be
a checkbox that can be controlled with a GPO.

Thanks.
