Encarta World English Dictionary and Student/Teacher edition 2004

Have installed the Student/Teacher edition on a UK platform (Panther
10.34) and I cannot get the Encarta World English Dictionary
definitions pane to show anything. I did a selective install but saw
nowhere to install the dictionary. My understanding is that it is
included and unlike the encyclopedia is inline rather than online.
Would this be right? If so any ideas on how I might get the dictionary
to give definitions?

Any help appreciated.

Hi Dave:

Hmmm... Well, it's working here, and I am offline on the train at the
moment.

I can only suggest that you run an Uninstall, then install again using the
installer. I did a full install using the installer rather than
drag-and-drop.

Everyone tells me it makes no difference, but I think it does, particularly
when you consider add-ins and extras that need to be in the correct relative
directories to work properly under Unix.
