encrypted email transmission

I'm using Outlook 2000. I haven't changed any settings,
but suddenly I can't send any email. I get an "Email
Scanner" message that says "An encrypted email connection
has been detected. Please see help for more information on
how to transmit encrypted email." I didn't think I was
encrypting anything, and there's nothing in Help that
solves this problem.

HELP!
