End of File Reached in Entourage

Hello,

Recently, I have encountered an "End of file reached" alert which does not
allow me to send (or receive) any file with more than 300k attachment. I
use Entourage and have narrowed it to the "database" and "messages" file in
the Identity folder. If I delete these file I can send and receive just
fine, except that I lose all my old message. I tried importing old messages
from Outlook Express to Entourage with a new identity and that works fine.
Does anyone know how I can try exporting the Entourage files to OE? Just
copying the originals without importing or exporting won't work.

You should try rebuilding the database. Hold down the option key while
Entourage is opening.
BTW - What is "End of File"?

It means the database file that Entourage uses to store you e-mail,
contacts... has somehow become corrupt. Entourage is trying to access data
in the file, but that part of the file is missing or unreadable.
