English UK Dictionary should only contain for NOT fro

OIffice 2003 accepts 'fro' whereas the UK dictionary in previous editions ie
97, 2000 worked perfectly well with just 'for' in the dictionary. It would be
of great assistance if this could be corrected.

'fro' is a legitimate word. If you don't want to check it add it to an
exclusion dictionary. If you are sure you will never use it and you type it
in mistake for 'for', then create an autocorrect entry.

Thank you. However, having followed the FAQ word still does not exclude
'fro', which I appreciate is an adverb. I also aqppreciate that it can be
rectified in autocorrect but the exclusion dictionary should work because
then we can control spellings across the network.

I wonder is it due to XP Pro and office 2003? or is the file conversion
incorrect?

Make sure you have created an exclusion dictionary with the correct name
(based on the .lex file) and saved in the correct folder.
