enoturage 2004 not recieving microsoft exhange 2004 emails

My work started using microsoft exchange sever three months ago. My entourage 2004 worked fine until two weeks ago. Now it does not update my folders and rairly recieves emails. Entourage will show one maybe two emails in a day. When I go on the the server I'm seeing 20 to 30 emails in my inbox. Should I update to office 2008, what will work?

Is your Exchange Server on your company network with your workstation?
If so, be sure that you're using the address of your back-end Exchange
Server and not the address of a front-end Outlook Web Access (OWA) server.
