Hi
Has anyone else had this problem:
I am a new user of Entourage and Macs. I have Entourage 2004 and Mac
OS X.
I have linked Entourage to my hotmail account and all was going well.
However now when I start Entourage I get the spinning beachball of
doom. I cannot access any part of the application.
I have tried the various options on the database utility, including
the rebuild with no success.
I have read through and tried the only relevant posting I could find
(below) on this site, but again no joy. (I have put the removed files
in my trash so if I need them again they are available!)
Can anyone help me?!
Cheers
John
"Sometimes corrupt Entourage preferences can cause such problems.
1. Quit Entourage if it is still running.
2. Go to the [hard drive]:Users:[Your
Username]:Library
references:Microsoft
folder, move the following files to Desktop.
Carbon Registration Database
Entourage Preferences
Entourage Settings (10)
3. Drag the com.Microsoft.Entourage.plist from the folder "[hard
drive]:users:[user
name]:Library
references" to the desktop.
4. Start Entourage and test if the problem ceases."
