Ent Freezing on StartUp

I have just noticed a new (to me) problem with ENT 2004 V 11.2.3 on
startup. It load, POPs the mail and freezes. The only escape is to use
the OSX Force Quit. When I restart everything works fine.

I would appreciate some tips on what may be causing the problem and how
to stop the Entourage Screen Freeze. BTW, this is unique to Entourage
as I am not having this issue with any other application.

It could be a corrupt email. Hold the shift key when starting up Entourage
to disable any schedules. Next turn of the preview pane and download your
mail.

That must have been the problem as it is now working perfect.
