I have a IBM desktop, Fujitsu laptop and a PocketPC. The IBM desktop uses
XP Pro, laptop uses XP Home, and both have same version of XP Office
installed. The desktop and laptop shared the same outlook .pst file on a
portable drive.
When I entered Chinese characters in the note section (or note field) of
Outlook Calendar or Outlook Contacts, I would experience the following
problems:
1. Entered by using IBM, sync to PPC, no problem at all. Everyone is
happy.
2. Entered by using laptop, sync to PPC. IBM can display the chinese
characters without any problem. The PPC displays the chinese characters in
the note section of Calendar and Contacts as funny characters. Other fields
are ok, only the note field is funny.
3. Entered by using PPC. Saved. Reopen the file, and all the chinese
characters becomes funny characters.
Any suggestion to resolve the problem?
