How can you resize a picture that has been inserted into the body of the email message? The pictures are always too large and I have tried to resize them. The ultimate solution has been to insert the picture / graphic into MS Word 2008, resize and then cut and paste it back into the body of the email.

Any solution is greatly appreciated.

If the pictures are in iPhoto, then you can select to resize when you click
on the Email button. Entourage 2008's' new feature does not allow for
resize.

Tools --> Toolbox --> Object Palette --> Photos button.
This pulls directly from iPhoto.

There are several third party applications that allow you to resize.

iResize (freeware) <http://www.marcorotatori.com/index.php?p=iResizer>

EasyCrop $11.95 <http://www.yellowmug.com/easycrop/>

PhotoCropper $12.95 <http://www.sjake.com/products/photocropper/>

PhotoExpress 2 €5

The best deal is Graphic Converter $19.95 It's much more than a photo
reducer. <http://www.graphic-converter.net/tips.htm>
