I am having problems with Entourage since I upgraded to version 2004.
I leave my messages on the server, so that I can access them from more
than one location. When I delete the message from the server, it
usually reappears. When I download, I now get 2 or 3 copies of the
same message. Sometimes, the reappearance is a phantom. When I click
on it, I get a "message cannot be found". Other times, it downloads.
Every once in a while, I click delete it, and another unrelated
message is deleted.
I have rebuilt the mail data base with no effect.
I did not have this problem on Entourage for OS X (the first version
compatible with OS X), only the upgrade to 2004.
I am about ready to give up and go back to the older version.
I am set up with a POP account in both versions of Entourage. I use
Verizon.
