Entourage '04 Calendar dates and event problems

K

Keith

1) I have a user that adds events to his calendar, saves them, then
immediately goes to look for them and the events never show up.

2) Often he adds events in the future and entourage says that he is
adding an event which happened in the past. The clock is set
correctly.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Recreate the identity and test.
Or try for an advanced rebuil for entourage identity.

I have the same problem as #2 -- the correct date shows up in the
calendar pane, so Entourage seems to know what day it is, but every
time I try to create an event or task, Entourage asks if I want to
save a date in the past, and if I click yes, it always sets the date
for Oct. 1.

I actually deleted and reinstalled the entire Office suite and still
the problem recurs. I also have a second user set up on the iMac, but
this user (me, actually, just with a different login) does not
encounter the problem. Finally, the problem did not show up right
away, but only after I'd been using Entourage for a week.

I'd love to get an answer to this too.

Same here. Problem persists.
Go figure...seems to definitely related to the upgrade, since this thread
started 10/8...anyone didn't upgrade to service pack one? Randy, I
understand you reinstalled the whole suite, but maybe an upgraded file
persisted somewhere...

I replied to this one. It doesn't have anything to do with SP 1. I suspect
it has to do with daylight savings time ending. Are the out-by-an-hour
displays for events you make now but which occur after daylight savings
(summer time) ends? They should display properly when standard time returns.
It's still a bug, but not such a serious one, since the display should be
correct when the events actually arrive.
