Entourage 10.1.0 on a iMac G5

I have an old copy of Office 2004 with Entourage 10.1.0. I have tried
to install it from disk on a iMac G5 (not the Intel chip model). When
I try to get mail the program quits. I have tried to update it but may
not be downloading the correct update. Is there a way I can get this
program to work? What other information would someone need to help me
fix this problem?

Hi,

there may be different reasons for Entourage's crashing when it downloads
emails. Nevertheless, you're right, the first thing to do is to update
Office, and the latest version for v.X is 10.1.6. You can find the update on
the Mactopia website; since the URL for that update is quite long and would
possibly be broken if I posted it in here, here's the TinyURL version of the

the correct page). If the problem persists after the update, post back and
give us more details about what exactly is happening, what kind of email
account you're using etc. .
