Entourage 11.2.5 and Word attachments

Since upgrading to Entourage 11.2.5, I have encountered problems
directly opening Word attachments into Word, especially if Word is
closed. I get the following dialog - "The application Word quit
unexpectedly. If I look at the report, I get -
Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS (0x0001) at 0xffdff3bc

When I next reopen Word, I get a message - Word encountered file
corruption while opening PDFMaker.dot.

If Word is already open, there is no problem. Suggestions?

Delete pdfmaker.dot (also pdfmaker.xlt & pdfmaker.ppa) and replace them with
folders named exactly the same.

You will find them here:
/Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Office/Startup/Word/PDFMaker.dot
/Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Office/Startup/Excel/PDFMaker.xla
/Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Office/Startup/PowerPoint/PDFMaker.ppa

These custom toolbars are a thorough pain, and this seems to be the only way
to permanently disable them.
