Entourage 2001 completly hang up

Hello All!

Ich hope some of you will have an idea to the following problem:

If I open a mail message which was created with a Windows Computer my
Entourage and the system completly hang up. Nothing works afterwards.
I had the same problem with Outlook Express. So I switched to
Entourage but it did not help. Even if I create a new user profile. If
I create a new user it works until the first reboot.

It is quite an interesting problem but it is not real fun to reboot
the computer every 15 minutes.

I hope some of you can help me.

Regards
Matthias

Hi,

Just take a normal spam mail. Thats it. You can take any mail which
was send with a Windows Computer. Thats the interesting thing. I see,
I forgot to post. This problem belong only to mails which were send
with a Windows Computer.

Thanks

I receive mail from windows users all the time and never had any problems.

Since you had this problem with OE, I suggest it's something on your end. It
could be your ISP or your computer settings.

That´s what I guess but I have no idea where I can start searching.
Can there also be a HW problem? NU (Disk Doctor) does not report any
problems with the disk but probably the RAM or anything else is goind
to RIP. I have no experience with such problems.
