Entourage 2001 opening Address Book

I have a Mac 6500/250 with 128mb of RAM running 9.1. When I go to write a
new e-mail, it takes at least 20 seconds for the blank e-mail to open with
the Address pane on top. And it seems in general any operation where I call
up the Address Book takes a very long time to bring up the Address Book.
I've already changed preferred RAM from 8000 to 16000.

Is this normal on my older type Mac? Anything I can do to speed up the
actions of the Address Book. I just use it for e-mails and have about 530
contacts in it. Thank you. Nathan

Click on the name column to sort by name. You're currently sorted by a
column that is not indexed and therefore takes longer to sort and display.
