I am having trouble accessing a delegator's account that has been
setup under my account. The exchange server is setup as
https://owa.subdomain.domain.edu/exchange, "DAV services requires SSL"
is checked, the delegator has given me full permission for everything
via Outlook on the PC and the 2003 Exchange server and they have been
successfully entered under my Delegate tab. But I never see any
subfolders (like Inbox) and after composing an e-mail as them, I get
this error message when it tries to send the message:
HTTP error. Access to the resource is forbidden.
Mail could not be sent.
Account name: "Johnson, John - Exchange Account"
Error: -18597
I know I have correct access to their account, because I can send
messages as them and view their calendar via Safari logging in as
myself when I access the URLs:
https://owa.subdomain.domain.edu/exchange/John.Johnson/Calendar
https://owa.subdomain.domain.edu/exchange/John.Johnson/Inbox
I suspect that the problem might has something to do with DNS and
address formation. The name of the exchange domain is
"subdomain.domain" and there are some questions about what is a fully
qualified domainname within this subdomain.
If this error message is pointing to a badly formed URL for WebDAV,
I'd like to know how I can find out what Entourage via Exchange
account info is resolving this account name to when trying to access
via WebDAV. That seems to be the only way to troubleshoot it.
If this error message is referring to something else, what?
Thanks-
Mark
