I just installed Office 2004 on a new iMac. The software seemed to
install properly, and it verified the Exchange account successfully.
However, it's not syncing email or public folders. Every time I launch
Entourage, it gives me a warning message saying "Entourage is now
synchronizing in the background with your Exchange account:
servername. Synchronization time varies depending on the amount of
data you are syncronizing and the speed of your connection.
I've let it sit longer than 1 hour with no change. I don't think it's
syncronizing.
I can mount the fileserver (exchange is on the same box) so I know
connectivity is there, and I can also browse the company directory
with directory services, so I konw it's connecting to some parts of
Exchange.
Am I doing something wrong?
