Entourage 2004 and GAL

I used our companies GAL successfuly with Entourage X, but I have been
unable to connect using Entourage 2004. I get an "Error 111". Do I need
to change any settings for this feature? I know the Exchange Server
setting had to change from the host to the OWA URL.

Ah, turns out to have been a proxy issue. I do not understand why it
was necessary to put the GAL server into my proxy exception, but that
was the only way to get it to work. Curiously, I did not have to do
this for the mail portion. This was not necessary under Entourage X.

Get into your Network Preferences and click the Proxies tab. There is a
field in there labled "Bypass proxy settings for these Hosts &
Domains:". I stuck the GAL server in there. I also put the Exchange
server in there, but I was already successfully getting mail.
