Entourage 2004 and installing certificates.

Hi,

OK, same old story....

Entourage 2004 and Exchange Server 2003.
Entourage needs to use WebDAV for the public folder access, however
Exchange only allows WebDAV with SSL encryption.
Fine, I'll just install the certificates then.

Except it doesn't work!!!!!!!!!!

I've exported the certificates from IIS, they seem to import ok into
keychain and the microsoft cert manager.

But whenever I start Entourage i get "the correct root certificate
is not installed... messages you view or send will not be secure"

My main question is this.....
Once the certificates are installed do I also need to go to the
Entourage account and select the certificates there or is that a
totally different thing?
The reason this is a problem for me is that when I go to the account
my certificates don't show in the popup list.

heres a couple of links to the two ways i've found people are saying
to do this ---

I'm starting to think there's a problem with my certificates.
Please someone who's got this to work , please please please post a
full guide.

Cheers.

Forget it, I got it working finally.

You need the Office 2004 SP1 11.1 update.It doesn't say anything on
the KB about fixing this issue but since that update everythings
working perfectly.

Need to test it on a few more machines but so far mine looks fine.

As for the certificates, i exported a .pfx from the iss console on the
exchange server then imported that as a digital identity in the office
2004 Microsoft Cert Manager.

Probably no one gives a shit but i got pissed off reading about this
problem and i don't like it when people find a solution and don't
post.
So here it is.
