Entourage 2004 and .Mac email aliases

Folks,

Am using Entourage 2004 under 10.3.7. Have a .Mac IMAP account now
with several email aliases. Have tried setting up a separate account
for each of the aliases in E2004 but this just duplicates all the boxes
and mail. Receiving the alias messages under the initial .Mac name is
fine. But I would like to be able to send using the alias addresses. I
know it can be set up in Mail.app -

Any help for setting up the IMAP account in E2004 would be appreciated.

Set up the accounts for the aliases as POP accounts. Do not include any
information in the 'receiving mail server', just in the sending mail server
section (you will get an advisory dialog about his when you save the
settings). Make sure the account is excluded from the 'send and receive all'
schedule.
