Entourage 2004 backup

Is it possible to back up all the data in Entourage 2004 except emails ? I
work off an IMAP store so this would reduce the size of my backup file
considerably. If I had to reinstate the backup at any stage, would the
relevant emails in the IMAP store still keep their links to projects,
contacts etc ?

Entourage 2004 Export allows you to check what you want to archive. Look
under File in the menu bar.
