Entourage 2004 Calendar Sync Problem

I use Entourage 2004 to access an Exchange server. I have no problem
with e-mail, but my local calendar information and tasks are not being
updated on the server and vice versa. If I access the calender using
Outlook web access I can't see additions I have made to calendar and
tasks in Entourage, and changes I make using OWA don't show up in
Entourage.

I have removed and recreated the account but this did not help, and I
have checked that the account settings indicate that everything is to
be synchronized with the server.

Any thoughts about the source of the problem or suggestions for
solutions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a solution, but I thought I would let you know that Tasks
will never synchronize.

Also, I'd confirm that WebDAV is properly configured on the Exchange
Server. Though, I believe ALL traffic to the exchange server is over
WebDAV from Entourage.

After reading some other messages I did go back to the account settings
and noticed that the check box in the Advanced settings for DAV
services requires secure connection was not checked. I selected this
option and my calendar appears to be synchronizing successfully..

I have noticed a very strange bug in Entourage that I cannot seem to solve.

When I create a new email or calendar event, or open an existing calendar
event, all the fonts are now in BOLD, and all the text is fully right
justified. What this means is that the Subject line in a new email, as well
as all the fields in a new calendar event are all on the right of the
window. In the case of entries for Reminder time, the text box appears empty
even though the number is in the box, just right justified out of the
viewable area.

I have tried delete preferences and starting over, the problem went away for
a short time and has returned. I can find no option anywhere for font
preferences for Entourage windows.

Note that I saw this in Entourage X as well, and now appears in Entourage
2004.

Any suggestions on how I might either edit some preference file to alter
this annoying bug, find an option I am just missing, or get Microsoft to
acknowledge the bug and actually fix it? Any ideas as to what might cause
this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Never thought about looking there. Thank you. I am reading a LOT on it now.
Hopefully this will fix this very annoying problem.
BTW: What does ng stand for? I assume the g is Google?

FYI: Removing the 2 Shutterfly plug-ins from the /library/ Internet
Plug-Ins/ folder fixed this problem. The two files were:

Shutterfly
Shutterfly Plugin Agent

Thanks again.

Search the ng archives on this one, you'll find lots--I have a vague memory
that after many reports, perhaps it was linked to the Shutterfly plug-in?
There was also a temporary workaround cited many times. Right-justified o
right-justify seemed to be the key description.

Sorry, ng is newsgroup. And now your statement of the fix is archived
again, even easier for the next person to find. :)

Glad to help.
