Entourage 2004 cannot connect to exchange 2000

Hi guys,

I have a problem with my new mac.
I have just installed Entourage 2004 and would like it to connect to
my exchange server (2000).

I follow the wizard in entourage, adding the information it asks for
but I get the following error:

The Assistent was unable to determine the following account settings
based on the Exchange account: [email protected]

Name
Exchange Server
Directory Server
Free/Busy Server

Does anyone know what the problem is ?
I am new in the mac world, so please be nice to me.....

Hi Jesper,

We get such errors when we try to do automatic configuration.

Try to configure Exchange account manually.

Also before configure the Exchange account enter the correct DNS server's IP
address & search domain in System Preferences/Network.

Download Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac Resource Kit from
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/resources/resources.aspx?pid=resourcekits&rk=office2004

I am having the same problem and have followed directions in the
recommended URLs with no success. Any other ideas would be great!
