Entourage 2004 crashes and database corruption

Hi,
I think for myself I've found a connection between Entourage 2004
stability and database corruption. It appears that what is causing it
all is when I add my work Exchange account into the mix. I did an OS
downgrade and re-applied my patches to 10.3.4 (plus the usual disk first
aid and repairing of permissions). Point being that after deleting my
Exchange account from the account list, DB Utility was able to rebuild
and compact my database to a size that is no longer considered to be
corrupt. I have had Entourage 2004 running for the past 30 min without a
crash. I'm betting that if I re-create my Exhange account the mail
database will become corrupt again and Entourage 2004 will crash like
mad. If my theory is right, what can be done to correct it?

It's possible that your mail on the exchange server is corrupted.
