Entourage 2004 Database Problems

I am trying to use Entourage 2004 on several Mac computers to connect to
an Exchange 2003 server within the domain. After installing Entourage, I
am able to initially setup the application to connect to the Exchange Server.
I am never able to make a successful connection. After exiting the
application and restarting it, I receive an error that states: "Entourage cannot
access your data. To attempt to fix the problem, rebuild your database." I
have gone through the steps to rebuild the database without any resolution.
I also tried and advance rebuild which didn't help either. I've also tried
uninstalling and reinstalling the application without any luck as well. Any
help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

System environment: Entourage 2004, Mac OS 10.3.5, Office X will
eventually be installed (without Entourage X)

I think you might have problems using the other Office X applications with
Entourage 2004. Is there a reason you do not want to use the other
applications?
