Entourage 2004 does not work with Exchange?????

Hi

I had Entourage X working okay with Exchange, okay we are on an old version
and no LDAP and diary did not work BUT email worked fine.

I noticed just today that when I upgraded to Entourage 2004 my Exchange
settings came across but non of my folders are available or email any more?

I have checked the setting an all seems fine.

When I click onto the Exchange icon which would normally have downloaded all
my new email, nothing happens?

Any ideas????

e-mail in X worked through IMAP.

Two possibilities there. Entourage 2004 goes through WebDAV (webmail). Either
this feature is not enabled, or the settings are slightly different for the
Exchange server (different address or you might need to enable SSL...).

Oh BUGGER.

My IT group are totally anti Mac and are very unlikely to help me and will
certainly not change any settings on Exchange to help me..............

We are still running exchange 5.5.

Looks like I am stuck with Outlook 2001 or use a PC. :eek:(

You still have the possibility to get your mail through IMAP if it is
enabled and query the address book through LDAP (again: if it is
enabled).

Looks like I am stuck with Outlook 2001 or use a PC. :eek:(

How?

I got the impression from your answer that Entourage USED to get Exchange
email via IMAP but no longer.

Is there a way to configure Entourage to use IMAP instead of Webdav?

If so HOW PLEASE?

Just set the account as an IMAP account and completely ignore the Exchange
option (since i t requires Exchange >>> 5.5 and WebDAV)....
