entourage 2004 downloading certain messages to local folder

I have entourage set up with my university's email exchange server. It works
fine except for one small problem. (entourage 2004 + leopard btw)

Normally, when I get a new message, it displays on the INBOX of the exchange
folder. Very rarely, it downloads the messages to the INBOX on my folders on
my computer. I am often unaware of this (no notification), except that it is
bolded. This happens very infrequently, but I do not know why it happens.

The emails are coming from a mailing list, but again most of the emails from
that person using the mailing list , goes to my exchange folder inbox and not
local folder inbox, so im not sure its a factor.

Any suggestions?? I'm often missing out on important emails because its
diverted to my "folder on my computer" and I only check inbox on exchange.

Hi Mike!

Check for a Mailing List Manager rule under the Tools menu.
